I currently find myself in Boston on a fun-filled 5 day excursion.  So far, I’m impressed by this quaint city’s homey feel and down home goodness.  Observances at Day 2:

1.  Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, and Filene’s Basement: Me likey the U.S stores

2.  Running in Boston:  This is a runner’s town, where you will be passed by joggers at any given time.  I ran Boston Common today and enjoyed the gorgeousness of it all

3. Haavaad:  Much more modest a campus than I thought, where’s the pomp? where’s the circumstance? Just a bunch of kids in crimson making their way to class, while sippin on their Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees….

4.  Lobsters: The last time I had to crack on open by hand was in Halifax back in naught 4.  Much like I imagine childbirth to be, I had forgotten the trauma of having to go through that whole process, but I reminded myself last night.  I’ll give myself another 4 years before the next Lobster experience.

Off to find some Chowdaah!
